New Manufacturer: Marset
Flux is now the area representative for Marset, a decorative and architectural line out of Barcelona. What separates them from the rest of a decorative shelf isn’t the shapes. They design the light coming out of the shade as carefully as the shade itself, so a Marset pendant over a table gives you something to look at and something to see by, rather than a nice object and a glare source.
What they make rewards a slow look: diffusers you can see the intent in, materials that age instead of dating, and pieces that hold up as objects when they’re switched off.
