Privacy Policy

This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers fluxlighting.ca. Anything you send us by email, phone or in person is handled the same way, but is not collected by this site.

What you give us
When you use a form on this site or email us: your name, company, email address, phone number, and whatever you write. This site has no accounts and asks for no payment details.

What is collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records standard technical information — IP address, browser, the pages you visit, and the page you arrived from — through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Our host and our security plugin keep server and access logs so the site stays up and attacks get blocked.

Cookies
This site sets cookies. Some are needed for it to work; the rest are analytics. You can refuse or delete them in your browser and the site will still work.

Why we use it
To answer you, to prepare a quote or a specification, to keep the site secure and free of spam, and to see which pages are useful. We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it outside Flux except with the providers listed below, or where the law requires it.

Who else handles it

• Google — Analytics, Tag Manager and reCAPTCHA: website measurement and form protection.
• CleanTalk — spam filtering on forms.
• Wordfence — site security.
• Kinsta — hosting.

Each handles it on our behalf, under its own terms.

Marketing
We only send marketing email to people who asked for it, and every message carries an unsubscribe link. Replying to ask us to stop works just as well.

How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and project correspondence for as long as we’re working together and while it’s useful for supporting what we supplied. Analytics data follows the retention period set in Google Analytics.

Your rights
Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Ask and we’ll do it.
