KLICK

KLICK is track without the fiddle. The modules snap in and out of the powered track by hand, so a tenant who rearranges a gallery wall next year doesn’t need an electrician to do it. See KLICK

Edge

Edge lays into a T-bar grid and takes its light to the edge of the tile, so you get the output of a recessed fixture without the footprint of one in the ceiling plan. It lays in and the acoustic tile sits on top. No trimming, no coordination fight with the mechanical drawing. See Edge

Sigma

Liteline Sigma downlights in a warm interior

Sigma is the one to look at when a space needs output and warmth at once: some of the range puts out 4,400 lumens. Lumens are how much light actually comes out of the fixture, as opposed to how much power goes into it, and 4,400 is enough to light a tall room from fewer points. The dim-to-warm versions drift toward candlelight as they dim instead of staying cold and blue. See Sigma

Track

SlimLED

Liteline SlimLED slim recessed lights in a flat ceiling

SlimLED is the thin one. It’s worth being straight about what it’s for: a budget, a ceiling with nothing above it, a retrofit where a housing won’t fit. The trade is geometry. The light source sits at the ceiling plane rather than set back up inside a housing, so you see the source itself from more of the room. Where that matters, buy the depth. Where it doesn’t, this is the sensible place to spend the money. See SlimLED
