New Manufacturer: Accord Lighting
Accord started as a furniture shop. That’s the whole explanation for how their lighting looks. Eight years of cabinetry came first. In 2005 they pointed all of it at light. Accord luminaires are wood first: the grain runs the way somebody chose, the joints hold their line, and the finish comes off a bench rather than out of a spray booth.
Accord is a family carpentry business that sells lighting, and that’s worth knowing for the practical reason as much as the romantic one. Ask for a change to a size or a species and there’s usually a way to do it, because the people who’d have to make it are the people who own the place.
