The Carlington Community is an innovative partnership between Ottawa Community Housing (OCH) and the Carlington Community Health Centre, which includes new affordable homes for low-income seniors, integrating primary medical care and support services under the same roof.

CSV Architects placed a heavy focus on sustainable design and construction for this project to promote healthy living for the residents and users. With this in mind, Flux provided lighting layouts and calculations before the fixtures were even installed. The result is even and fully illuminated exterior pathways and signage that ensures proper vision for the residence at night.
